Michael Ellyett

Strategic vision, direction and planning.

Michael has worked in IT strategy and planning roles across a range of industries for almost two decades. He was trained as an architect at Auckland university, and then started work developing software. From this he has run software development teams, managed large integration projects, and worked with organisation founders and executives to develop their IT strategies and architecture best-practice. He was worked extensively with technology enterprises and many other commercial organisations and government agencies. He has established a number of successful IT businesses and worked internationally with organisations in Europe, USA, Asia and Australia. Michael is an amatuer polo player, and when not competing, enjoys travel and relaxing with his family.

Guy Wittig

Technology innovation, technology direction and delivery.

Guy is an Electrical Engineering graduate of University of NSW. His first role was developing instrumentation for Solar Energy research. With experience in embedded systems, Guy moved on to electronics manufacturing where he held key roles in manufacturing engineering and quality insurance for international companies exporting worldwide. Moving to the IT Industry Guy has worked in global positions for multinational hardware and software businesses, including managing consulting organisations and systems integration projects. Most recently Guy has worked as the CTO for a multi-billion dollar organisation implementing and modernising operational systems. Guy takes a strong architectural focus on solutions design from the embedded code on the device to enterprise backend systems. When not working on software projects Guy can often be found climbing a mountain somewhere.

Wendy Ralph

Business establishment, operations & delivery support.

Wendy graduated with a Bachelor in Agricultural Science (1st Class Hons) and moved directly into the the IT sector, working in project delivery roles for multinational organisations and start-up technology solution providers. Wendy has lived in SE Asia for nearly 20 years, but now calls New Zealand home. She has worked In her spare time she likes to travel, ride horses and ski.

Matt Hector-Taylor

Strategy, business model design, business planning, organisational leadership support.

Matt is a co-founder of IoT Ventures and has been working on delivering value from long-range low power IoT since 2015. His focus is on business strategy, market development, product delivery. He has experience of developing and implementing IoT solutions in agricultural, environmental, wellness, asset management and smart city domains. Prior to IoT Ventures Matt worked in and on a number of innovative and high growth companies from concept to exit in a range of industries with a particular focus on technology in health, aged care and the social services. He is currently also an IS strategy advisor to the health sector.

Kate Strevens

Commercial director, investment readiness, M&A, procurement, contractual relationships.

Kate has 15 years experience investigating, negotiating, managing and documenting small and large scale global mergers and acquisitions across a broad range of industries, and has exceptional expertise in international capital raising and alternative investment approaches. Her roles have included acting as a key adviser to trade buyers, investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, VCs and private equity investors.
